Morocco

Very active Institute with 1400 architects. They may not be admitted as full member to the AUA because they are not part of the African Union (ex-OAU).

Tunisia

Compulsory recourse to architects for all projects exceeding 70 m² requiring a building permit except for minor maintenance and modification works. Act 90-02
Registration mandatory to the Ordre des Architectes Tunisiens OAT and accreditation to the Ministère de l'Equipement et de l'Habitat.
The Acts 94/9 and 94/10 of 31 Jan 1994 defines the liability and quality control in the building industry
